It’s time for Michigan to act. In 2026, we must adopt a Citizen-Only Voting Amendment to our state constitution. This measure would:


  • Require voters to show photo ID to vote, while providing free ID cards for individuals facing hardship, ensuring the law is fair and accessible to all eligible citizens.

  • Establish that the secretary of state must verify that only U.S. citizens are eligible to vote in all elections, and

  • Mandate that the Secretary of State regularly review and purge voter rolls of individuals whose citizenship status cannot be verified.
